The South African Police Service (SAPS) is investigating a case of murder after the body of 17-year-old Dineo was found in a river in Moganyaka, outside Leeuwfontein.

Dineo had left her home to visit a friend on Thursday, March 23, 2023, but did not return home that evening. Her family became concerned and reported her missing to the SAPS.
