The 2027 Oyo North Senatorial ambition of Mrs. Hannah Ogunesan has received a boost with a prominent youth mobilizer in the area, Hon. Ponmile Omidiji, endorsing the former Oyo State Head of Service as his preferred candidate.

Hon. Omidiji Ponmile, was the Director Youth and Students For the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential and governorship campaign for 2023 elections in Oyo State.

Hon. Ponmile described the aspiration of Ogunesan as “a welcome development and worthy of total support”, adding that her track record and antecedents have given her a clear edge in the senatorial race.

The youth mobilizer noted that Ogunesan’s ability to identify, nurture, and engage talents is unequalled, saying her life has been a testimony of human capital development in an unrelenting struggle for better life for the people.

He said looking at it holistically, it is obvious that Ogunesan fits in all aspects, considering her passion for the well-being and development of our region Oke Ogun amd Oyo North as a whole.

Ponmile, who eulogized the qualities of Ogunesan, noted that she has the wherewithal to sustain the developmental stride of Senator Fatai Buhari and also take the senatorial district to an enviable height.

The youth leader said: “Oyo North deserves a leader who embodies innovation, altruism, and strategic foresight. Mrs Hannah Ogunesan has consistently demonstrated these qualities, making her uniquely qualified to represent Oyo North

Omidiji Ponmile called on Oke-Ogun people to rally behind Ogunesan’s and align with her vision for a prosperous Oyo North. “When we rally behind candidates who are committed to our welfare, we create a framework within which our interests are not merely heard but are prioritized.” He said.
