The management, staff and players of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, on Tuesday, joined other well wishers in rejoicing with the Chairman, Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resorts, Dr Dotun Sanusi on his 55th birthday celebrations.
Celebrating the philanthropist cum business mogul, the Executive Chairman of 3SC, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, described Dr Sanusi as a patriotic and kind hearted man, with genuine interest in the success of the youths.
“On behalf of the entire Shooting Stars family, I want to join family members, friends and associates, in felicitating Dr Dotun Sanusi on the auspicious occasion of his birthday celebration.
“It is quite important to celebrate people , who in one way or the other, use what God has given them to affect thr society positively and Dr Sanusi ranks among such people.
“His immense contributions to the growth of the economy and provision of job opportunities for many people, including the young ones, cannot be quantified or ignored, hence the need to celebrate him.
“While appreciating God for the grace bestowed on him to witness this day, I, on behalf of the 3SC family, pray that God Almighty in his infinite mercy, will continue to protect guide and guard him and bless him with long life in sound health”, added the 3SC helmsman.
Meanwhile, members of the Shooting Management, joined others at the Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resorts, Akanran, to rejoice with Dr Sanusi.
Honourable Olaniyan led a powerful 3SC delegation, which included the acting General Manager cum Team Manager, Dimeji Lawal, the Director, Finance and Account, Mrs, Abiodun Oyeyemi, the Administrative Manager, Mr Babayemi A.T, as well as the team’s Technical crew, led by Coach Gbenga Ogunbote, other staff and players to the occasion.
A gift was later presented to the celebrant by the players of the Oluyole Warriors, on behalf of the club, before the team took on Ilaji FC in a friendly match,, organised as part of activities marking the birthday celebrations.
