According to the former Rector, “despite the fact that the law establishing the institution recognizes that the host community and Alumni should be represented on the Governing Council of the institution, I was not happy that Alumni was not represented but there was nothing I could do to help the situation until the Public Relations Officer caught the vision. I want to use this opportunity to commend the PRO of the institution, Mrs. Opeyemi Olawore for her ceaseless efforts which led to the establishment of OYSCATECH Alumni Association.

“I therefore dedicate all my achievements while in OYSCATECH to the Staff of the institution because their dedication and commitment made all the achievements possible.

“By the grace of God I delivered on my mandate and I return all the glory back to God.”
