According to the video on X, formerly known as Twitter, an Ivorian military Officer was seen searching the ladies thoroughly, from their chest down to their legs, before granting them access into the Stadium.
Calling out the Ivorian Authorities after seeing the way women were being searched at the ongoing African Cup of Nations tournament in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, the man tweeted: “How can the #Ivorian authorities think that this is okay?”
