In a recent video statement, popular radio presenter and Islamic cleric Sheik Agbara Omi has shared his perspective on the ongoing matter between prominent pastor Agbala Gabriel and a man named Muyideen.

Sheik Agbara Omi stated that in his view, Pastor Agbala Gabriel was envious of Islam, and that this was the root cause of the trouble that has arisen between the pastor and Muyideen. The cleric emphasized that he does not believe in forcing people to convert to Islam, stating “if you want to change a people you let them join by their choice.”

The Islamic cleric suggested that the actions of many Christians, who he said often try to force people to join their religion, is what has “implicated Pastor Agbala Gabriel” in this situation.

The video of Sheik Agbara Omi’s comments has received a range of reactions from social media users. Some expressed strong disagreement with the cleric’s perspective, with one commenter writing “Your opinion is yours sir, but what you said here doesn’t bring anything sensible at all.” Others were more measured in their responses, simply stating that the cleric’s words were not palatable to them.

The ongoing dispute between Pastor Agbala Gabriel and Muyideen has clearly become a point of controversy, with this latest intervention by Sheik Agbara Omi adding another layer to the debate. As this story continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how the various parties and community members will respond.
