Akwa Ibom Governor Unveils New ‘First Lady’ After Wife’s Death

Akwa Ibom state Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has named acting First Lady.

She is Mrs. Helen Eno Obareki, one of the biological daughters of the governor.

This follows the death of his late wife, Pastor Patience Umo Eno

According to reports, the governor introduced his daughter, to take on the duties of the First Lady, ensuring continuity of the office and the projects initiated by his late wife.

“It is not an easy task ahead. But to maintain the Office of the First Lady and carry forward my late wife’s work, I present our daughter, Helen, to continue the duties of the office,” he said

The announcement was made during a condolence visit by Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and other dignitaries in Uyo on Friday.
