The Anambra State Commissioner for Youths Development, Patrick Aghamba, has been kidnapped along with his wife.
According to sources close to Aghamba, the couple were en route to Abuja to attend the wedding of the daughter of the Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, when the incident occurred on Friday.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the Commissioner’s aide, ABK Offiah, was shot and killed by the assailants during the kidnapping.
As of the time of reporting, the Anambra State Police Command has not yet confirmed or denied the incident. Authorities are currently investigating the matter, and more information is expected to emerge as the situation unfolds.
