This is a news story about a Nigerian punter named Lukman Teriba who won a large sum of money from a bet on the BetNaija platform, but was only paid a fraction of his winnings.

According to the story, Teriba successfully predicted the outcomes of 37 games, placing a N1,000 bet that yielded N16.7 million in winnings. However, when he went to claim his prize, he was told that the funds had already been withdrawn.

After escalating the issue to BetNaija’s head office, the management intervened and persuaded their agent to release Teriba’s winnings. Despite this, the agent only transferred N3 million to Teriba’s account, far less than the N16.7 million he had won.
