Bishop David Oyedepo and Living Faith Church Worldwide (LFC) have announced plans to distribute food and relief materials to Nigerians amidst the country’s ongoing economic difficulties. The announcement was made during the “Covenant Day of Business Breakthrough Service” held at the church’s headquarters in Canaan Land, Ogun State.

During the service, Bishop Oyedepo urged members of the ministry to bring their support to the church, with a particular emphasis on providing food materials. The church will establish accounts to receive donations from its branches nationwide.

The distribution of relief materials will take place across 200 locations, with 40 primary sites serving as the main distribution centers. The distribution is set to commence on Wednesday, March 27, 2023, and individuals in need are encouraged to visit one of the designated centers. Bishop Oyedepo stressed that seeking help is not a sign of weakness but rather a demonstration of wisdom. To ensure the preservation of the relief materials, the church will only accept non-perishable food items and refrain from accepting perishable items like vegetables and tomatoes.

In addition to food items, the church will also distribute clothing for children and adults, catering to both male and female wear. Bishop Oyedepo assured the congregation that no one will go without clothing, as the church is committed to meeting the needs of the people.

On Saturday, March 23rd, church members are encouraged to bring their donations, including financial contributions, to support the Kingdom Care Agenda. Various accounts have been set up at zonal fellowship centers where members can make financial contributions towards the cause. Bishop Oyedepo reminded the congregation of the biblical principle that generosity towards the needy brings blessings while withholding support leads to curses. He encouraged members to find joy in giving and view it as a delightful act rather than a burden.

This initiative by Bishop Oyedepo and the Living Faith Church Worldwide showcases their dedication to providing relief to Nigerians amidst the nation’s economic hardships. It serves as a reminder of the importance of giving and supporting those who are struggling during these challenging times.
