In a significant boost to Nigeria’s entertainment industry, acclaimed filmmaker and entrepreneur Bolanle Austen-Peters has announced the opening of a vast film village in Epe, Lagos State, covering an impressive 10,000 acres.
This state-of-the-art facility joins the ranks of other notable film villages in the country, including those established by Ibrahim Chatta and Kunle Afolayan.
The film village has already begun attracting filmmakers, having hosted the production of the film “House of Ga’a.” With its expansive land and modern infrastructure, the village is poised to open up new avenues for film and television production, fostering both local talent and international collaborations.
Austen-Peters’ initiative is expected to play a crucial role in the growth and development of Nigeria’s vibrant entertainment sector.
Congratulations are in order for Bolanle Austen-Peters on this remarkable achievement.
