Residents of Solo Street in Iyekhei Heritage Zone, Auchi Sacred Kingdom, were left reeling on Friday, September 20, after a shocking incident resulted in the death of Mr. Rasheed Braimah, allegedly at the hands of his younger brother, Omoh.
According to reports from ABS News Network, Rasheed was shot while riding his bike home in the early hours of Black Friday, leaving him lifeless in a pool of his own blood. This tragic event came just a day after Rasheed welcomed a new child into his family.
While the motive behind the shooting remains unclear, an anonymous source revealed to The Community's Eye that tensions arose over a request Omoh made to Rasheed. Omoh, who is a twin, allegedly sought his brother's help to facilitate an exercise aimed at securing the release of his twin brother, Odion, from a prison in Europe. The source suggested that when Rasheed refused to assist, it may have led to the fatal decision made by Omoh.
In the aftermath of Rasheed’s death, a group of enraged youths reportedly apprehended Omoh and exacted vigilante justice, setting him ablaze. Witnesses described the scene as horrific, with the Osigwe family suffering the devastating loss of two young men within a matter of minutes.
