A 55-year-old father of six simply identified as Abib took his own life due to his struggles with financial difficulties and personal challenges.
Abib, also known as Bibson, was a well-known dry cleaner in the Ashaka area of Ibadan. However, his business suffered greatly after he developed a wound on his hand, which eventually affected his ability to work. Despite his efforts to make ends meet, life became increasingly difficult for him.
Not only did Abib face financial hardships, but he also experienced problems in his personal life. He had divorced his wife, adding another layer of stress and emotional distress to his already overwhelming circumstances. The combination of these factors likely contributed to his decision to take his own life.
Neighbors who discovered Abib's body described him as a peaceful and hardworking man. They were shocked to learn about the extent of his struggles and the impact it had on him. The community rallied together, expressing sympathy and questioning what could have led him to this unimaginable act.
