Nigerian internet personality and crossdresser, Bobrisky has filed a ₦1 billion lawsuit against fellow social media influencer VeryDarkMan, according to reports from News360 Nigeria.
The lawsuit arises from allegations that VeryDarkMan disseminated a voice recording, purportedly created by artificial intelligence, that wrongfully attributed statements to Bobrisky.
In an official statement, Bobrisky issued a 24-hour ultimatum to VeryDarkMan, demanding the retraction of the claims and a public apology. Bobrisky warned that failure to comply would lead to additional legal repercussions.
Bobrisky’s legal representatives have expressed confidence in their ability to prove defamation, highlighting the malicious intent behind the circulation of the AI-generated recording.
