In a rising social media feud, Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has publicly admonished Folakemi Falana, sister of renowned Nigerian rapper and actor Falz, for labeling him as "notorious" and "ridiculous" during a recent podcast interview.
VDM took to social media, sharing a video that has since gained traction, to address these accusations made by Folakemi, who is also the daughter of prominent human rights lawyer Femi Falana. Her remarks come amid ongoing controversies involving her family, including allegations of bribery and corruption connected to her father, her brother Falz, and Nigerian socialite Bobrisky.
Following these claims, Folakemi clarified via an Instagram post that her father had never had any interactions with Bobrisky. She claimed that Bobrisky reached out to Falz solely for financial assistance during a recent legal predicament, and the conversation did not involve discussions about a potential presidential pardon.
Despite the familial turmoil, Folakemi has accused VDM of defamation and is taking legal action against him. However, VDM responded by stating that he denies any wrongdoing and has opted to address the matter in court rather than engage further in social media disputes.
In his video, VDM criticized Folakemi for continuing to speak publicly about him ahead of their court appearance, asserting, "You're calling me names without waiting for the court. If you keep this up, you won't like my next move." He emphasized his readiness to confront her in court, claiming, “You people should go and check the meaning of these words…”
Earlier, Folakemi expressed her displeasure over public perceptions, noting that many Nigerians are quick to accept unfounded rumors, including allegations concerning Falz's orientation and his alleged relationship with Bobrisky.
