People's Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party and other party agents have stormed out of collation centre in Abuja over alleged over voting.

According to Dino Melaye while speaking with journalists said the party agents who staged the walk out are from 10 political parties.

This was after a drama ensued when Dino Melaye, an agent of the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), protested the results of Ekiti State announced earlier on Sunday.

Melaye insisted that the INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, must not accept the results of Ekiti, alleging that there were incidents of overvoting and electoral irregularities. Melaye also said that the results presented at the national collation centre were not uploaded on the commission's Results Viewing Portal (IReV), and he was immediately supported by other party agents.

However, the INEC chairman overruled Melaye and ratified the result presented by the SCOPs for Kwara and asked those of Ondo and Osun to proceed with their results. Despite this, Melaye left his seat, stormed the arena right before the INEC chairman, and ranted that the results presented by the SCOPs would not be accepted by his party. Mahmood instantly cautioned Melaye and announced a one-hour break.

Many party leaders have bitterly complained that INEC officials at the polling units were unable to upload election results to the IReV. The IReV and the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) are new technologies introduced by the electoral body for the accreditation and electronic transmission of votes for this year's polls.
