Gbolarumi felicitates Olobu on 50th Coronation Anniversary

The former deputy Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Barrister Hazeem Gbolarumi, has felicitated with Oba Ashiru Olatoye Olaniyan II, the Olobu of Ilobu Land of Osun State on his 50th Coronation Anniversary.

This contains in a statement released through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Olaniyi Stephen at the event thanked Almighty Allah for preserving guiding, and bequeathing wisdom on the life of Oba Ashiru.

He described the Olobu as a selfless statesman and highly destabilised traditional ruler and applauded his invaluable contributions to nation-building called the traditional ruler a ”reservoir of knowledge and epitome of royalty,”.

He urged Oba Ashiru Olatoye Olaniyan II to sustain his patriotic efforts aimed at promoting peace and unity, not only in Osun State , but also across the country.

Gbolarumi wished the traditional ruler long life and wisdom as he steers the affairs of the Ilobu kingdom.

“I join the people of Osun state and in particular, Ilobu kingdom in celebrating His Royal Majesty, Oba Ashiru Olatoye Olaniyan II as he clocks 50 years on the revered stool of his forefathers.

“Kabiyesi has over the years, sustained his goodwill and pedigree, in view of his extraordinary leadership style and passion for the welfare of his subjects.

“As one of the longest-reigning royal fathers in Nigeria, the wise counsel of Oba Ashiru Olatoye on national issues cannot be undermined.

“Kabiyesi is a strong advocate of peace and unity.

“He has over the years used his position to advance the cause of the people.

“Oba Ashiru’s reign has brought robust development to Ilobu town and environs.

“On behalf of my family and the members of my Political Kingdom , I congratulate our amiable royal father and I pray that peace, progress and posterity shall continue to be the Hallmark of his reign.

“May God grant our Kabiyesi long life, good health, peaceful and purposeful reign. Ade a pe l’ori, Irukere a d’abere! “
