Similarly, Senator Sharafadeen Alli has urged Christians worldwide to uphold the values of humility, love, selflessness, and sacrificial spirit displayed by Jesus Christ during Easter celebrations. He emphasized the significance of Easter in the Christian calendar and called for reflection on Christ's teachings of love, sacrifice, empathy, and compassion, particularly during these challenging times. Alli encouraged Christians to draw inspiration from Easter to promote unity, understanding, and goodwill among people of all faiths.
Alli commended the perseverance and steadfastness of Christians globally, especially in the face of adversity, and sought prayers for peace, healing, and prosperity worldwide. He reiterated his commitment to promoting religious tolerance, respect for diversity, and socio-economic development in Oyo South and beyond.
