Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, will be launching the construction of an Ultra-modern NUJ Mall tomorrow, Monday March 25, 2024.
The mall, which will be located at the back of the Dapo Aderogba Hall of the Press Centre in Iyaganku GRA, Ibadan, is a project under the supervision of NOUVEAUX Rich Ltd through a BoT arrangement.
The event, scheduled to commence at 10am, is expected to be attended by past and present leaders of the Oyo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), veterans, and well-wishers in the state. It is regarded as a legacy project of the NUJ leadership led by Comrade Ademola Babalola.
Chapel leaders and stakeholders in the media industry are also invited to witness this significant occasion. The invitation is extended by Conrade Sola Oladapo, the Secretary General of NUJ Oyo State Council.
