Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has expressed his sympathy and condolences to Honourable Dhikrullah Adedeji Stanley Olajide, the Member representing Ibadan South-West/Ibadan North-West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, over the passing of his father, Alhaji Abdullateef Akin-Tokunbo Olajide.
Governor Makinde offered prayers for the eternal rest of Pa Olajide's soul and for his family to find strength during this difficult time. Alhaji Olajide passed away early on Friday.
In another condolence message, Governor Makinde also reached out to Pa Jacob Gbadebo Adetoro, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), following the tragic death of his son, Mr. Adegbite Adetoro, who was a vice chairmanship candidate for the upcoming local government election.
The Governor expressed his condolences to the Adetoro family and the entire PDP in Olorunsogo Local Government, noting that Gbite's untimely death is a personal loss to him and the PDP in the state. Governor Makinde described the deceased as a young man with immense potential and prayed for God to comfort the Adetoro family and prevent such painful occurrences in the future.
