Rice, beans, garri, groundnut oil, tomatoes, and bread have all experienced significant price increases from December 2023 to February 2024. For example, a 50kg bag of rice has increased from N35,000 to N65,000, while garri has risen from N22,000 to N39,500 for a 50kg bag. Other items, such as noodles, groundnut oil, eggs, sugar, bread, and semovita, have also seen substantial price hikes.
