NiMet’s weather forecast for Friday predicted a sunny atmosphere over the northern region, with isolated thunderstorms expected in some parts of Kebbi, Zamfara, and Kaduna states during the afternoon and evening.
In the North Central region, sunny skies with a few cloud patches are anticipated in the morning, followed by isolated thunderstorms in parts of Niger, the Federal Capital Territory, Kogi, and Kwara states later in the day.
In the southern region, the weather is expected to be cloudy with spells of sunshine. Additionally, there is a likelihood of more cloud build-up over the coastal areas, with chances of isolated thunderstorms in parts of Lagos, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom states during the morning hours.
