The Nollywood film industry is reeling from the sudden and tragic deaths of fast-rising actor Evans and Director of Photography Nnunu, who reportedly died after consuming drinks believed to be poisoned.
Veteran movie producer Stanley Ontop shared the devastating news on Instagram, revealing that the drinks were allegedly provided by a film director as a gesture of appreciation for the crew’s hard work during a shoot.
According to Ontop, both men developed intense stomach pains shortly after drinking the beverages. Initially dismissed as a minor illness by those on set, the situation quickly deteriorated. They were rushed to the hospital but were sadly pronounced dead on arrival.
