Professor Adeniyi Olowofela, the Federal Character Commissioner from Oyo State, has extended heartfelt condolences to Comrade Ademola Babalola, the Chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ). The occasion was marked by the recent passing of Comrade Babalola's beloved mother, Madam Wulemot Aweni Babalola, a loss that resonates deeply in the state.

In his condolence message, Professor Olowofela emphasized the profound impact of Madam Babalola's life, stating, "I sincerely commiserate with you, my dear brother and a versatile leader of journalists in the state, over the passage of your beloved mother." His words serve not only to comfort Comrade Babalola but also to highlight the significant role that families play in shaping the leaders of tomorrow.

He prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased, invoking Allah's mercy by saying, "I pray that the Almighty Allah grants her Aljannah Fridaus and grants you and the rest of the family the fortitude to bear the loss." Such sentiments underscore the essence of communal strength and the importance of unity in times of sorrow.

Professor Olowofela, who has served as the Commissioner for Education and has held the position of Ido Local Government Chairman, further remarked on the legacies left by Madam Babalola, encouraging Comrade Babalola to draw strength from the "great legacies and excellent parenthood" she provided to her children. His acknowledgment of the positive influence she had is a powerful reminder that even in death, a parent’s love and commitment can continue to inspire and guide their children.

"Please take solace in the good works that are testimonials of a life well spent," Olowofela stated, reinforcing the idea that the values instilled by loved ones can serve as a source of solace during challenging times.

In closing his message, Professor Olowofela assured Comrade Babalola of continued strength through this trying period, stating, "I trust Allah will strengthen you and the rest of the family at this critical moment."
