Oyo Governor Appoints More Aides, Board Chairmen, and Members

Oyo State Governor, 'Seyi Makinde, has approved the appointments of new board chairmen, Executive Advisers, a Special Assistant, and board members.

In a letter signed by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Segun Ogunwuyi, the governor announced several key appointments:

- Alhaji Babalola Afobaje has been appointed as the chairman of the Oyo State Rural Water and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA).

- Dr. Akin Fagbemi, a former chairman of the Oyo State Road Transport Maintenance Agency, has been appointed as the chairman of the Oyo State Hospitals Management Board.

- Hon. Ademola Omotosho, a former chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, has been appointed as the chairman of the Oyo State Housing Corporation.

- Deacon Adeoye Adekola has been appointed as the chairman of the Oyo State Board for Technical and Vocational Education (BOTAVED).

- Prince Falana Adebowale Adebayo has been appointed as the chairman of the Oyo State Youth Development Agency.

The governor has also made the following appointments:

- Hon. Busari Olayemi, a former Member of the House of Representatives, as his Executive Adviser on Inter-Party Affairs.
- Hon. Seun Fakorede, a former Commissioner for Youth and Sports, as Executive Adviser on Youth and Sports.
- Hon. Doshima Josephine Aneh as Special Assistant on Inter-Governmental Affairs & Northern States Liaison.

Additionally, the governor approved the appointments of several members to the Board of Oyo State Community & Social Development Agency and the Oyo State Housing Corporation.

The appointments are part of Governor Makinde's efforts to strengthen the state's leadership and ensure effective governance.
