President Bola Tinubu joined Muslims in Lagos on Wednesday to observe Eid-el-Fitr prayers, where he urged Nigerians to love their country and defend its integrity.
Speaking to journalists after the prayers, the President highlighted that his administration's Renewed Hope Agenda is diligently being implemented to bring prosperity to Nigerians.
He encouraged Muslims to extend the values of sacrifice and resilience beyond the Ramadan fasting period, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing love for their country.
President Tinubu stressed the need to protect the integrity of the government and leadership, stating that the Renewed Hope Agenda is alive and Nigerians should remain hopeful.
In his sermon, the Chief Imam of Lagos State called for peaceful coexistence and urged leaders to fulfill their responsibilities towards the less privileged. He also offered prayers for President Tinubu, the Lagos State government, and the peace and stability of Nigeria.
