Three Men Charged with Murdering Women and Disposing of Bodies to Pigs in South Africa
Three men in South Africa have been charged with the brutal murder of two women, with allegations that they fed the victims' bodies to pigs, triggering widespread outrage among the public.
The accused—farm owner Zachariah Johannes Olivier, supervisor Andrian Rudolph de Wet, and employee William Musora—appeared in a Limpopo court to face charges of premeditated murder, attempted murder, and illegal possession of firearms. Musora, who is originally from Zimbabwe, is also facing immigration-related charges.
The tragic incident occurred in August when the victims, Locadia Ndlovu and Maria Makgatho, reportedly trespassed onto Olivier's farm in search of potentially expired goods. According to investigations, both women were shot and subsequently found decomposed in a pigsty.
A man who was with Ndlovu and Makgatho managed to survive and alerted authorities about the horrific events that transpired. The case is drawing significant media attention and public outrage surrounding both the nature of the crime and the treatment of the victims.
