A University of Jos (UNIJOS) student, identified on X as Nanmakplang R, has shared her experience of being interrupted by a lecturer while recording a TikTok video on campus.
Unlike a recent controversial incident at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), where a student allegedly bit and slapped a lecturer, Nanmakplang’s encounter took a different turn.
She was filming on a staircase landing when a passing lecturer gestured for her to stop. Instead of reacting negatively, she immediately paused her recording and greeted the lecturer with a smile.
Her reaction has sparked discussions online, with many contrasting her response to the UNIZIK case.
Here are some of the reactions:
Diala Sunday: "When you see people with a sweet soul, you can tell. See how she just smiled over it, even though this man wasn’t as polite as the UNIZIK lecturer."
Oga Na Master: "This one was raised well. But it seems like lecturers these days are becoming friendlier."
The video has continued to generate conversation about student-lecturer interactions on campus.
