A civil group in Kogi Central, the Kogi Central Concerned Group (KCCG), has alleged that the suspended Senator representing the district, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, is plotting violent disruptions to counter the ongoing recall process against her.

In a statement issued by the group’s president, Comrade Eneji Itopa, KCCG claimed that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, in collaboration with her husband, had concluded plans to mobilize Niger Delta militants to disrupt the recall exercise. The group stated that social media accounts linked to the senator’s allies have been sharing information about the alleged plan.

A former loyalist of the senator, who spoke on condition of anonymity, alleged that she was preparing to mobilize people to protest against the recall outcome.

"It is obvious that the recall is turning into a huge surprise to her, and she wants to technically discredit its credibility through violence," the source claimed.

Meanwhile, the recall process, which took place on March 19, reportedly witnessed a large turnout of constituents who expressed disappointment in the senator’s performance. Some former supporters lamented that she had deviated from her campaign promises.

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has not responded to these allegations at effort to reach her proof abortive as the the time of filing this report  but a source close to her said its a mere rumour plotted by the opposition to instigate her constituents against her.

The source who didnt want her name in print said " Why would she do such, its not possible she was elected to represent the people and they lover her so there is no reason for her  to attack anybody.
