Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Special Duties, Ossai Ovie Success, popularly known as “Mr Disappointed,” has extended an open invitation to Ms. Comfort Emmanson, the Ibom Air passenger recently discharged of unruly conduct charges, to visit Delta State with a lucrative offer in hand.
In a post on Wednesday, Ossai announced that he had secured a job for Emmanson in Delta State with a monthly salary of ₦500,000, alongside an all-expense paid trip to the state, renowned as “The Big Heart” and a rising global tourism hub.
According to him, the package will cover her flight tickets, accommodation in a four-star hotel, tour expenses, and a ticket to attend the Delta Social Media Summit scheduled for August 28 in Asaba.
“I’m offering Comfort Emmanson a complimentary trip to Delta State, known as the Big Heart and Home of Global Tourism Hub,” Ossai wrote. “She won’t be disappointed as I will be giving her a good time.”
The governor’s aide added that the invitation was also meant to help Emmanson unwind following her release from Kirikiri prison after all charges against her were dropped.
“I’d like to extend an invitation for her to visit Delta State and unwind… If you’re in touch with her, please ask her to DM me,” he stated.
Ossai, known for wading into trending national stories with bold and sometimes controversial offers, seemed to relish the opportunity to weigh in on the viral Ibom Air saga.
“I would have been personally disappointed if Ossai Ovie Success didn’t jump on this trend,” one social media user quipped in reaction to his post.
