Recall that Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore launched a 1,144 man Nomad Vigilante Group to address various security challenges, including banditry, kidnapping, and cattle rustling, in Nasarawa State.

The leadership of YRA while speaking at a press conference held at Dapo Aderogba Conference Hall, Nigerian Union of Journalists Iyaganku GRA, Ibadan said that if any member of the vigilante group are deployed to yorubaland, be in Kogi kwara or Edo or Southwest, Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Ekiti and Lagos they will be regarded as allien invading force and will be treated as auch

The group which queried the Federal government’s Inability to fish out perpetrators of Igangan attack, Owo Bomb blast and other attacks in Yoruba states insisted that “Yorubaland seems to be the target of all of Nigeria’s jihadists, ethnic jingoists and bandits .Till today, the perpetrators of the Igangan and Owo atrocities are yet to be apprehended and brought to book. As far as we are concerned, they seem to be above the law, or are being protected by the law enforcement agencies.”

While describing the steps as a move towards anarchy, YRA said “The federal government of Nigeria is hereby put on notice that this is a recipe for anarchy as we shall not accept it under any guise. The result, of course will be predictable anarchy

“All parts of Yorubaland are advised accordingly. Under no circumstances will they be welcome or accepted anywhere in Yorubaland. Whoever is toying with that thought of deploying them to Yorubaland should immediately perish the thought!”

They maintained that “Knowing how the Fulani work, we know they are flying a kite and testing the waters before they delve into something more sinister and diabolical”

“Any ethnic group in Nigeria is free to train and deploy vigilantes to protect their lives and properties insofar as they keep such operatives within their recognized community borders, states or homelands, and do not constitute a threat to their neighbours.

“This Miyetti Allah endeavor is a recipe for chaos, anarchy and complete bedlam! These are trained soldiers disguised as vigilantes, and will only continue the grim culture of attacks on our people if they are allowed to function in Yorubaland.”

“A permanent solution is a
dissolution of the Nigerian federation where each part can practice the kind of civilization they so desire.

That will usher in eternal peace. We have always demanded our exit from this Nigeria contraption and the establishment of our own nation.” They concluded
