The wife of Nigerian football player Kayode Olanrewaju, Ezinne Dora Kayode, has responded to allegations of infidelity, financial fraud, and paternity fraud made by her husband.
Earlier this year, the Turkey-based footballer made headlines when he threatened to commit suicide after reportedly discovering his wife’s alleged infidelity with a popular UK-based pastor. He also deleted all pictures of his wife and children from his social media channels, claiming the kids were not his.
Reports also alleged that Mrs. Kayode lied about her age when they got married, being seven years older than her husband had been led to believe.
The allegations claimed that the UK-based pastor had intercourse with Mrs. Kayode and that she also allegedly participated in orgies whenever she traveled. Additionally, Olanrewaju accused his wife of stealing two Mercedes SUVs from him, conspiring with accomplices to seize his property as she is a lawyer and handled most of his business affairs.
However, Dora Ezinne Kayode has now come out to deny these allegations through her legal representatives. In a letter sent to her husband, they ordered him to stop spreading “malicious lies” against their client and her children in the media. The statement also refuted claims that a DNA test had been conducted, and asked the Super Eagles star to issue a public disclaimer stating that no such test had been carried out on any of the three children they share.
Olanrewaju Kayode is currently a free agent without a club, having last played for the Turkish club Gençlerbirliği. He has also sacked Dora as his agent.
