According to him, her legendary performance and the stability of government of both Senator Abiola Ajimobi of blessed memory where she served as the first female Speaker in the State and her continuous support for His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde’s administration since 2019 till date are really impressive and highly commendable.

He stressed that, “the celebrant became the first female speaker in the history of Oyo state in June 2011 and she is the only female former speaker of the Oyo Assembly.

“Not only that, she is the first female Senator from our constituency, Oyo Central Senatorial district and the first female senator from Oyo state.

“She is the founder of the MOSWEF foundation, an NGO designed to alleviate the living conditions of women and youth.

Not only that, “it is to Senator Monsurat Sunmonu’s credit that we now have in operation, the treatment of gun shot victims because she sponsored the ‘Accident & Gunshot Victims Act 2018’ signed into Law by former President Muhammadu Buhari which guarantees that hospitals must treat gun shot patients before requesting police reports or payment.”

“Dear Distinguished Senator, accept my hearty felicitation as you reach this milestone age. May you continue to have the strength to serve Allah and humanity in general. Amen’, Dotun Sanusi added.
