The CEO of Ilaji Hotels & Sports Resort, Ibadan, Dr. Dotun Sanusi, has been selected as the winner of The Sun Hospitality Icon of the Year Award 2024. This prestigious award, presented by The Sun Publishing Limited—publishers of Daily Sun, Saturday Sun, Sunday Sun, and Sporting Sun—recognizes Dr. Sanusi’s remarkable contributions to the hospitality sector.
According to a statement from Onuoha Ukeh, Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of The Sun Publishing Limited, the award will be formally conferred during The Sun Awards ceremony on March 1, 2025, in Lagos. Dr. Sanusi, also the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadan, will receive an official confirmation letter of his selection on December 10, 2024.
In the notification letter, Ukeh noted:
