This video of K1 De Ultimate singing at a campaign rally for President Bola Tinubu during 2023 electioneering period has surfaced online, and it may be a possible reason for the musician’s anger towards Tinubu.

In the video, Tinubu promises to reduce petroleum prices if he is elected as Nigeria’s president.

K1’s daughter, Dami Ayinde, has also spoken out about the economic situation, stating that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has not delivered on its promises.

The economic hardship in Nigeria has worsened since the new administration took office on May 29, 2023, following the departure of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
