Three former employees of Access Bank, along with another individual, have been arraigned by the Enugu Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly stealing N15,944,100 from the bank.

The accused, Ogbu Kingsley Ibekwem, Nwagbara Chidimma, Uwaezuoke Raymond, and Chidubem Angela Mgbeke, reportedly embezzled the funds before it could be transferred to the Central Bank.

The suspects were handed over to the EFCC by the Nottidge branch of the bank in Onitsha, Anambra State. They appeared before Justice Mohammed Garba Umar of the Federal High Court in Enugu State and pleaded “not guilty” to the charges of conspiracy and stealing.
