The attack reportedly took place on Sunday on the university’s campus, with several other individuals present but none intervening to stop the assault. The reason for the attack remains unknown, though the commentator claims the two students were previously friends.
This incident comes just months after similar cases of bullying surfaced at the Lead British International School in Abuja, sparking outrage on social media. In one case, a female student was seen being bullied by her classmates, while another video depicted a group of male students in the school’s uniform engaging in a separate incident of bullying.
The video of the Ekiti Varsity attack has prompted widespread condemnation, with many calling for the perpetrator to be held accountable for her actions and for the university to take swift action to address the issue of campus violence and ensure the safety of its students.
