In a message released on Thursday morning, Hon. Oladimeji Olayinka Segelu, the esteemed representative of Oyo State, extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the citizens of the state for ushering in the month of August 2024.

Hon. Segelu, fondly known as Igbega Apapo Oyo State, expressed his fervent prayers that the Almighty God would continue to shower His blessings upon the people of Oyo State throughout this new month and beyond.

Acknowledging the challenges that the nation has been facing, the Honorable Lawmaker urged the people of Oyo State to maintain a sense of civility and decorum as the planned nationwide hunger protest commences today. He admonished the youths and other concerned citizens to conduct themselves peacefully and carry out their processions and rallies in a manner that would ensure the government listens and takes swift action to address the pressing issues affecting the well-being of the masses.

“As we embark on this new month, I implore all the citizens of Oyo State to remain steadfast in their pursuit of a better future for our beloved state,” said Hon. Segelu. “Let us come together, united in our efforts, to make our voices heard and contribute to the positive transformation we wish to see.”

With unwavering optimism, Hon. Segelu expressed his sincere wish for the citizenry to have a fruitful and prosperous August, filled with blessings, progress, and continued resilience in the face of adversity.
