If you have had a Facebook account anytime across the past 16 years or so, the good news is you are probably owed money.
The catch, however, is that you now have until Friday to claim it.
The clock is ticking.
Facebook is set to pay out more than $725 million combined to users who had accounts from May 24, 2007 until December 22, 2022.
The money being paid out by the social media site is part of a privacy settlement that it agreed late last year to pay after being sued for allowing users’ personal information to be picked up by Cambridge Analytica.
A deadline of Aug. 25 was established for claims to be made.
You have two days left to make a claim in the class action lawsuit that Facebook has agreed to settle for $725 million.
Meta’s agreed to pay millions to settle the suit, which alleges it shared personal user information with third parties.
You could get around $100. File before Friday at FacebookUserPrivacySettlement.com.Â
