The family of woman allegedly killed by her boyfriend in Ondo State, identified as Bankole Oginni have cried out over plan by his partners in crime to upturn the case.
Recalled that the 45-year-old Bankole Oginni who claimed to be a football coach was arrested following the death of the woman simply identified as Bose who said to be his ex-lover.
According to the police, the 45-year-old woman was found dead in the house of the suspect while some parts of her body had been removed.
The police revealed that it was the daughter of the deceased that reported the matter, after seeing the lifeless body of her mother tied down with a rope and some parts of her body removed in the suspect’s house located in the Oke Aro area of Akure, the state capital, on Sunday.
But in a radio program on Agidigbo FM in Ibadan on Wednesday evening, a brother to the deceased decried out over ploy by suspected partners in crime of the Bankole trying to upturn the case.
According to him on the radio program anchored by the owner, Oriyomi Hamzat titled “Kokoro Alate”, there were people in expensive cars coming to the police station to pay Bankole visit and bringing assorted foods for him to eat in the police custody.
The deceased’s brother added how the police discreetly called them to upturn the case and give them whatever they want. He said this is what made him cried on the radio for Nigerians to help him.
