Fire guts Bodija plank market in Ibadan (VIDEO)

The popular plank market in Bodija, Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo State was on fire.

The cause of the fire is still sketchy.

As of the time of publication, the fire’s initial cause was still unclear, although millions of naira’s worth of property could have been destroyed.

Federal and state fire departments were working together on the ground in a desperate attempt to put out the fire.
Even though it is pouring heavily outside, firemen are working to put out the fire.

There’s a heavy rainfall at the moment but rescue efforts are on nevertheless to put out the fire.

The reason for the fire outbreak could not yet be ascertained but traders are assisting fire service men to minimize the damage.
