A former deputy governor of Oyo State, Barr. Hazeem Gbolarumi, has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the smooth conduct of Saturday’s presidential and national assembly elections.
Gbolarumi gave the commendation while speaking with reporters in Ibadan, the state capital, after casting his vote at Ibadan North Local Government Area.
He said INEC did a good job which made the entire exercise you hold peacefully, smoothly and without violence.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain also expressed confidence that the party’s candidate, Atiku Abubakar, will win the presidential election, going by the level of campaign undertaken in Oyo and other states.
