— Governor Impressed by Quality and Speed of Work on Landmark Judicial Infrastructure

Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has commended Westfield Global Construction Ltd for the quality and pace of work on the new Ondo State Judiciary Complex currently under construction in Akure.

The Governor, who made an unscheduled visit to the construction site over the weekend, expressed satisfaction with the company’s performance, noting that the project is progressing steadily and in line with the expected standards.

“I’m impressed with the level of work being done here,” Aiyedatiwa stated during the visit. “The speed and quality of execution indicate that the project is on track for timely completion.”

The judiciary complex, which will bear the name of former Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, is set to include state-of-the-art facilities such as a ceremonial court, modular courtrooms, a registry, a library, exhibition halls, a utility building, and ample parking space.

Designed to modernize the justice delivery system in Ondo State, the complex aims to provide a functional and dignified environment for legal proceedings and judicial operations.

Founder of Westfield Global Construction Ltd, Abdulwasiu Adebisi, expressed appreciation for the Governor’s support and commitment to infrastructure development in the state.

“We’re grateful for the Governor’s visionary leadership, which enables us to perform at our best,” Adebisi said. “We remain fully committed to delivering this project on schedule and to the highest standards.”

Governor Aiyedatiwa’s site visit came shortly after attending the sitting of the Ondo State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal at the High Court Complex, which has been adjourned to June 4, 2025, for judgment.

Upon completion, the Ondo State Judiciary Complex is expected to significantly enhance the efficiency of judicial operations, reinforcing the state’s commitment to justice and institutional reform.

Westfield Global Construction’s execution of the project has drawn positive attention, reinforcing its standing as one of Nigeria’s top-tier infrastructure firms.
