Honorable Olayinka Segelu, a prominent figure in Nigeria, has sent his heartfelt greetings to all Muslims on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, which signifies the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

In a statement released today, Hon. Olayinka acknowledged that Ramadan and the act of breaking fast are integral parts of the diverse faith life in Nigeria. He emphasized that the invitation extended by Muslim friends and families to people of other faiths during this celebratory period is a key manifestation of tolerance, respect, and a willingness to foster exchange and unity.

Among the various activities celebrated during Ramadan, one that holds significant importance is the act of sharing. With gratitude, Hon. Olayinka expressed his sincere appreciation to his friends, families, and political associates, including the leaders of his political party, the PDP, at both the state and local levels, for accepting his invitations to Iftar, the evening meal to break the fast, during the holy month. He labeled Ramadan as a month of caring and extended his prayers for good health for all.
