A Germany-based business entrepreneur and stalwart of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Oyo State, Hon Olayinka Segelu, has commiserated with Chief Oyebisi Luqman Ilaka, former Chief of Staff (CoS) to Governor Seyi Makinde and the senatorial candidate of Oyo Central in the 2023 general election on the death of his mother, Chief (Mrs) Felicia Aderemi Ilaka.

Mrs Ilaka reportedly died on Tuesday, 27th August, 2024.

Hon Segelu described the late Iyalode of Oyo as a great woman who lived a life worthy of emulation and was a source of inspiration to many that knew her and crossed her paths in the course of her sojourn on earth.

In his condolence message to condole with the erstwhile CoS in Oyo State, Segelu, the Chairman/CEO of YSEG Hotels and Suites in Ibadan, said: “Distinguished Oyebisi Luqman Ilaka, I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your beloved mother, Chief (Mrs) Felicia Aderemi Ilaka, the Iyalode of Oyo. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.

“Mama’s legacy of strength and love will undoubtedly continue to inspire those who knew her. She was a great source of inspiration to those who cross her path. She obviously lived a life of fulfilment worth emulating.

“I hope you find comfort in the cherished memories you shared and the impact she made in the lives of many.

“May God in His infinite mercy grant her soul peaceful repose in His bosom.”

“With deepest sympathy from me.”
