A housemaid has been accused of attempting to poison her employer’s family after her mobile phone was taken away as punishment. The young woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, reportedly added rat poison to the family’s pot of soup in an act of retaliation.

According to reports, the housemaid had committed some form of misdemeanor, leading her employers to confiscate her phone as disciplinary action. Enraged by this, the housemaid is said to have plotted her revenge by tampering with the family’s food.

Fortunately, the employers discovered the contaminated soup before anyone could consume it. Footage of her questioning has been circulating online, though the details of her confession or statements have not been publicly released.
