A young Nigerian man has sparked widespread discussion online after openly declaring in a viral video that he does not expect to live beyond the age of 40 due to a spiritual agreement he willingly entered into.

In the video, the man explains that his premature death is inevitable because of a pact he made with a spiritual group based outside Nigeria. According to him, the group was transparent about the consequences from the onset, and he accepted the terms knowingly.

“I know what I got myself into. I won’t reach 40. It’s definite. An agreement is an agreement,” he stated.

He went on to say that he has lived a fulfilling life and harbors no regrets about his decision. Additionally, he emphasized that although he was informed it would be possible to extend his life by sacrificing another person—particularly a woman he was most intimate with—he has chosen not to take that route.

His revelations have stirred mixed reactions online, with many expressing concern while others questioned the spiritual pact and its implications.
