In a startling turn of events, popular cross-dresser and social media influencer Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, has been convicted by the Federal High Court in Lagos for his actions of abusing the Nigerian currency, the Naira. The conviction was handed down by Justice Abimbola Awogboro after a thorough review of the case.

During the hearing, Bobrisky pleaded with the judge, expressing remorse for his actions and vowing not to repeat them. He admitted to being unaware of the specific law pertaining to the abuse of the Naira, attributing his ignorance to his focus on his online presence as a social media influencer, boasting a vast following of over five million.

However, the judge clarified that ignorance of the law does not justify such actions, emphasizing the need for individuals to be aware and responsible citizens. Bobrisky, in response, requested a chance to redeem himself by utilizing his platform to educate and inform his followers about the proper handling and treatment of money, particularly when it comes to the act of “spraying.”
