The Bodija Estate Residents Association in Ibadan, Nigeria, has reported that nine residents are still missing following an explosion that occurred last week. The explosion, which occurred on Tuesday, resulted in the death of at least five people and left many others injured.
Muyiwa Bamgbose, the president of the association, stated that they have been actively searching for the missing residents. Through their efforts to collate data on the affected houses and residents, they have determined that around eight or nine people are unaccounted for. In order to get an accurate figure, the association is going through house by house, marking locations on a map.
Bamgbose stressed the urgency of finding these missing individuals. If someone was seen yesterday but cannot be found today, it is a cause for concern. The association is determined to locate these individuals and ensure their safety.
