Darasimi, the estranged wife of comedian Ganiu Morufu, popularly known as Ijoba Lande, has refuted claims of infidelity made by her husband.
In an interview with socialite Esabod and other TikTok personalities, Darasimi denied allegations that she had affairs with multiple men in the entertainment industry. Lande had accused her of being involved with at least 21 entertainers, including Nollywood actor Babatunde Tayo, known as Baba Tee. He further claimed that she left him after he confronted her about her alleged unfaithfulness.
However, Darasimi dismissed these accusations as false. Addressing the claim involving Baba Tee, she explained that they met through her friend, Marygold, during a visit to his home. She admitted to sitting on Baba Tee’s lap during a “Truth or Dare” game but insisted that nothing inappropriate occurred. She clarified that Marygold initiated the game after consuming alcohol and that any further interactions were between Marygold and Baba Tee, not her.
Darasimi maintained that infidelity was not the cause of her marriage’s breakdown but declined to disclose the real reason for their separation. She also challenged Lande to provide evidence supporting his accusations.
